How Sound Frequencies Influence the Nervous System

The Study

Studies in psychoacoustics show that sound frequencies can influence brainwave activity and nervous system regulation.

What This Research Shows

Certain frequencies can:

  • Encourage relaxation

  • Support focus

  • Influence emotional states

This is known as entrainment where the brain begins to match external rhythms.

Why This Matters

Your nervous system is constantly responding to signals.
If those signals are chaotic (stress, noise, overload), your body reflects that.

What This Means for Your Body

Your system is always “listening” not just with your ears, but through your entire nervous system.

When the right frequencies are introduced, the body can begin shifting out of stress patterns and into more regulated states.

Where My Work Comes In

Instead of generic sound, I use analysis to create personalized frequency protocols based on your system’s patterns.

This allows the sound to be:

  • Targeted

  • Intentional

  • Aligned with what your body is already trying to do
